Set of old books in a box from the Qing dynasty. The front panel of the box is carved with calligraphy and painted in green and red. Inside, the box is separated into three sections for the books. 

Dimensions for the box are 11 1/2 inches high by 17 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. 
 
Condition
The box needs repair; several pieces are broken. The books have age wear. The brass handle for the box is broken.
